The celebration continued into a hacienda-style courtyard, where guests gathered around a family-style dinner table dressed in custom deep coral linens and florals, complemented by sculptural candlesticks with wax shaped like flowers. @emilybairddesign created stunning menus featuring a hummingbird, an intimate tribute to the groom’s mother, who was deeply present in spirit.
As the reception unfolded, Aragon Artists took the stage, and Mark Canton joined his friend Michael Rainey Jr. on stage for an impromptu performance of Purple Rain, a song with deep personal meaning following Mark’s time working alongside Prince on the film Purple Rain.
The evening became a moment to honor and celebrate with family and friends they love so deeply.

For the wedding ceremony, The Chapel, reflecting Alexandra’s religious background, was thoughtfully complemented by a chuppah honoring Mark’s Jewish traditions. Designed by @houseofkirschner , the chuppah structure was adorned with lavender, society garlic, ficus, and beloperone, bringing both traditions together.
Alexandra’s look drew inspiration from Frida Kahlo and was brought to life by Reem Acra. After time spent immersed in Frida’s art, the designer unveiled a vintage Parisian lace that had been preserved for over 30 years and never before used. The result was a striking, three-piece modern gown that came together as the most perfect gown for Alexandra Scott.
Custom shoes were designed in collaboration with Valentina Rangoni, a close friend of the bride, using the same vintage lace to complete the couture look. Jewelry was provided by Larry Platt, who also sourced her vintage wedding ring.
The groom, American film producer Mark Canton, added his own personal touch by inviting all the gentlemen to wear their favorite sneakers, pairing the look with his own custom-designed Nike high-tops.
The couple was supported by a team that truly understood their vision, allowing every detail to fall into place and the celebration to feel deeply meaningful.

After the election.
Right before Thanksgiving.
We gathered our closest friends and family — not for spectacle, but for sanctuary.
Our wedding was never meant to be only about us.
It was meant to be about us all.
A room filled with different voices, different stories, different beliefs
and yet, one shared field of love.
There was joy.
There was surrender.
There was healing.
It felt like a place where people could exhale.
Where authenticity was welcome.
Where light was allowed to lead.
We wanted to honor the ones who have walked beside us.
To celebrate friendship. Loyalty. Presence.
To remind ourselves that love is still the most powerful force in any season.
Thank you to everyone who stood with us.
You didn’t just witness our love..
you expanded it.
For the rehearsal dinner, the celebration was hosted at El Huerto Farm to Table Restaurant, a garden oasis in the heart of Cabo San Lucas. As guests arrived, they were welcomed by mariachi melodies and canapés crafted from handpicked produce and herbs grown throughout the property.
When the sun set, family and friends shared toasts, and the celebration continued beneath Mexico’s open, starlit sky.

Guests were welcomed to Los Cabos with an oceanside fiesta, complete with tacos and tequila, marking their first taste of Mexico.
The destination was one deeply familiar to the couple, a place they felt connected to for its spiritual roots and the energy it holds. It became the perfect setting to celebrate alongside friends and family, in a location they knew they would cherish forever.
Alexandra carried a white bag with fringe suede and leather accents, a meaningful gift from Amanda Ross, from her own @arossgirl designs, an accessory that held great sentimental value.
This day marked the start of a weekend filled with celebration.
