So lucky to get to film with an amazing community in the Sikh temple in Gravesend.! To learn some of their traditions and how much they volunteer to help others. And of course the most delicious curry I’ve ever eaten. A lovely solid PSC Days work, with Gursh Nijjar directing & @ryanwindley on audio, BBC1 11.30am Sunday 12th Oct.
Thanks New Zealand, I’m very lucky to be able to travel for my work, and from the small parts I’ve seen in Auckland, I would love to come back with the family and explore the volcanic country side. Such a connection with its roots and surrounding Oceanic countries. Lovely people, and a privilege to see new trees, plants and see the beginning of Autumn in the southern hemisphere. I’m sure I’ll be back one day. 🙏🥰
All this should be on a shoot, not in my kit room. But due to a couple of rescheduled jobs this March, it’s all checked, prepped and charged & ready to go. I’ve even thrown out all my amazon boxes and swept.. 😆. If you need a lighting camera person and DOP please do get in touch. (Or I’ll find an excuse to buy more pelicases..)
Had my Black Friday present to myself turn up this week. The Mito Airtube 2 with snap grid honeycomb and skirt. It makes my Nanlite 300b into a very soft source which can be controlled as needed. Will be overusing this on every job very soon! (Need to tidy my kit room though!)
Who’s up for an in-depth look at the last 20 years of UK immigration policy? Come on, it’ll be fun! With such lovely faces like this on your telly box, why wouldn’t you watch…? Earlier this year I had the pleasure of filming some amazingly produced and directed interviews for this meaty subject. The BBC team secured some incredible interviewees and really dug deep, knew their politics & history and delivered a deep dive into the history of immigration. Watch now in BBC IPlayer. #sonyfx9 #sonyfs7 #sonya7siii #lightingcamera #eyedirect
I was lucky enough to be involved in some filming of this amazing Love Cheats documentary for Channel 4. Brave & Strong contributors telling their stories so hopefully others don’t fall for similar scumbags (spoiler..) Well worth a Sunday night watch. The talented @geecee500 at the Series Direct helm.
Tonight’s #Bargainholiday on #channel4 I pointed a big camera and flew a small one at Joe & Katherine: in a maze, a train museum, cycling on a river, in a famous persons childhood home, a haunted hotel and stood in a lake (me not them). Ch4 10pm after taskmaster. Watch it.!
Tonight. Channel 4. 10pm. I filmed a tent being put up in Wales, and a man who owns a baked bean Museum, And on a steam train, and some bikes, and some arcades. All with two funny people providing the words. #Bargainholidays. #SonyFX9 #mavicminipro3
I had a book of the scripts of this growing up, mainly for the range of swear words and put downs.! Had a very fun time filming a few days on this program. Adrian Edmondson was a lovely gent to work with. And hopefully my drone shot made the cut…🤞. Well worth a watch.
