Another great Future Elites day in the books!
Thanks so much to our special guest speakers Mark and Menno Arendz and to Morgan Campbell Strength & Conditioning for running our afternoon workout!
The final day at the @biathloncanadaofficial Nationals featured the Single Mixed Relay. I competed in the first and third legs, while my partner, @alex_hulshof took on the second and final legs. We had an exciting battle for the podium, finishing just behind the third-place team in fourth.
This was my first experience in a Single Mixed Relay, and it was a fun way to conclude both the Nationals and the 2025-26 season!

Day 3 at @biathloncanadaofficial Nationals was a Mass Start. It was set up as a Mass Start 60, which is a format I have never raced, and there are chaotic moments, but it was fun. There was some fatigue in the legs this morning, and a few early misses held me back, but clean shooting in the latter bouts let me charge as high as second after the final shooting, I don't have the ski speed to stay ahead but the best I could do was limit the gaps and I did so to finish fourth.

Day 2 at @biathloncanada Nationals was the Short Individual. Much colder temperatures meant firmer conditions and I excelled, and with solid shooting, only missing two, I found myself with a fantastic result finishing 4th.

Winter kicked off once again @canmore.nordiccentre with a significant overnight snowfall and continuous flurries throughout the first race of the @biathloncanada Nationals. That was a tough Sprint. I can't say my preparation has been ideal for Nationals, but it was one of my best Sprint results against an Open field in a long time.
