This has to go down as one of the best pre April fools spoofs!
We were walking our usual 3.5m loop on the Los Gatos Creek trail this AM and a woman flags us down, standing at the bridge that crosses the creek by Campbell Park. She points to an 8 ft long crocodile next to the waters edge. It didn't appear to be moving, I figured it might be dead. We recommended that she call Animal control rather than police. When we returned from our loop, police were on site with a drone, me with my telephoto lens.
Turns out its a fake as you can tell by the other photos! But from 50' it looked so real 😂
