This is a video I produced for
@nytopinion about Robert Richardson and his family. In 1997, Robert robbed a bank in Louisiana of about $5,000, and even though nobody was hurt, he was sentenced to 60 years in prison. After serving 21 years, he was granted clemency and released. And now that he's back with his family, he's making the case for sentencing reform -- that we should eliminate life without parole.
