Video description: A bright red and yellow Fisher-Price tape player sits on a green bench in Langthorne Park on a sunny day and with trees in the background. A hand reaches in and presses the play button. Music (sound remix from various children toys) plays until the hand reaches back in and stops the tape.
I got around to developing the film from a couple of trips to Mauritius. These are from 2022 on the extinct volcano in Curepipe.
The first image shows the crater covered in vegetation, with a lake at its centre. There’s a film burn on the left of the image as this was the first shot on the roll.
The second image shows the weather station at the top of the volcano, I think from the other side of the crater. The tall grass in the foreground is blowing in the wind.
The last image is an area in front of the weather station where vegetation and vines have covered the landscape and plants.
Taken on Kodak Vision3 with a Leica R4.
