Christopher's farther try's to get him to talk to him again but he won't because of what he did so he buys Christopher a Dog and makes it a project where they can care for the dog together and become family again. He calls the dog Sandy for how it is a sandy coloured dog.

One of the conflicts in my book is when the police show up to see the dead dog and talk to Christopher, they ask him questions and try to touch him but when that happens Christopher punches the officer in the face! When this happens the officers give Christopher a warning and if he ever gets in trouble or does something he's not allowed to do he can get it trouble... This really adds to the book because now he has to worry about the police when doing his detective work
