Saying goodbye today was rough, I know you aren’t in pain anymore and that is what is helping everyone get by. The role you played in my life from birth has never been and will never be forgotten. You were the one who taught me how to walk at 8 months, invited us on all the family trips as kids, watched over us for days on end and loved me as one of your own. I’ll never get over the fact that I couldn’t see you when you were here last month because all I wanted to do was say how much I loved you and thank you for everything.
