Last year at the beginning of spring, I was up around 5 am. And I had this strange feeling within telling me to start writing right now and it was like I could clearly hear these words. So I began to write and this is what I wrote. And when I woke up I found out one of my best friends I grew up with had passed and was fighting for his life around 5 am. And so this is just something I wanted to share and I wanted to dedicate this to those who lost someone they loved.

Covered In Dirt
A stubbed toe on infauated soils uncovers distilled truths of curated destruction.
A supreme city that once glistened so bright at night you would never need light. Gold sreeks that spoke to the moon carried by soft and powerful winds sounded off like whales in the sea.
Rich of its land stood communities of mighty people carrying triats of gold. Some with a golden sparkle in their eye and most with an electrical surge.
Rhymes of the moon forsake alluded realities to be reclaimed for destructive results.

“Artists in the Community – It’s a Bruno. It’s a Brantley” is an exhibition featuring noted Connecticut based artists Santo Bruno and Marquis Brantley Sr. The show runs from Friday, October 10, 2025 – January 12, 2026. Viewing Hours are 12 noon – 3: 00pm Tuesday thru Saturday. Street parking is on Leeder Hill Drive.
Bruno’s abstract primal images offer visual awakenings just as Brantley’s familial imagery relays a source of expressive strength and resilience. Both presentations offer levels of notable wonder and reflection.
