Cornish vintage cheddar rarebit on toast — a recipe Paul has carried throughout his career, which found the perfect home when The Mariners opened its doors. Enjoy it on its own, or pair with our Cullen skink for an extra-special treat.
It’s that time again… and this year we’re celebrating British Pie Week at The Mariners with our seafood pie for two ⚓️
ChalkStream trout, Cornish hake, smoked haddock, king prawns and St. Austell Bay mussels, folded through creamy potatoes and served with tenderstem broccoli.

Smoked mackerel pâté, hearty Cornish cottage pie with slow-cooked short rib & seaweed ragu, and vanilla ice cream with muscovado sauce & roasted oat & brioche crumble to finish.
Served Monday to Friday. Two courses for £22 or three for £28 💛🍺
