NHHG is back on October 30-31 & November 1.
Ticket sales officially open this Sunday, May 17th, at 10 AM Central European Time.

Its's almost been 2 full months since I severely sprained my ankle doing gymnastics. Recovery and physiotherapy are going pretty well! and I'll have a final verdict if I need surgery or not in a couple of weeks 🤞
On another note - huge announcement is coming TOMORROW on my page and on @naples_hulahoopgathering - you may have an idea of what's about to happen hehe ✨️

A week since @hoops.in.motion.ke and I still haven’t fully processed how incredible this France–Germany–Switzerland trip was. Just look at how beautiful the Kaiserstuhl region is! This was filmed at Mondhalde, on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards 🍇

Just got back from a 5-days trip around France, Germany and Switzerland! This short clip was shot in front of Notredame de Strasbourg 🇫🇷
I was absolutely mind-blown by the beauty of this cathedral and the whole city. My ankle was hurting a bit, but I still managed to walk all around the center, the beautiful canals of Petit France, and even ate delicious vegan quiche and pain au chocolat 🥐
I'm so grateful for the hoops making me discover new sides of the world that I may have never seen otherwise ⭕️

Hi frens. A not-so-great upgrade ❤️🩹
A month after my ankle sprain accident, I finally saw a specialist. He could only do some "superficial" exams, but it's pretty clear that a ligament in my ankle is very heavily damaged. I'll do physiotherapy for a month + an MRI and go back to visit him in a month to finally decide if I need surgery or not.
My ankle still hurts, but I'm able to walk and thankfully hoop a little bit. I have to continue taking it easy like I already have in the last month.
On the brightside, I've been taking this time to work on my thesis, on this year's edition of @naples_hulahoopgathering (yes!! It's happening!), I've been doing daily handstands on my private profile @itsmariloo and learning lots of geography 😂
I'm leaving this Thursday to go to @hoops.in.motion.ke where unfortunately I won't be able to perform, but I'm still very much teaching!!! ⭕️

Through the words of Pino Daniele, we opened the 3-hour event with a circus parade, engaging the audience and carrying stories of queerness, equity, acceptance, and resistance onto the stage.
That same night, so much of the Neapolitan music scene stepped onto that stage. Some of my absolute favorite artists performed right after us.
I still haven’t fully processed what we did… in the meantime, I’ll just keep giggling while rewatching the videos ❤️

Who would have thought that feeling a bit sad but also extremely energetic would make my creative juices flow so well 🤸♀️
Life’s been a literal rollercoaster lately. I’m getting closer and closer to graduating uni and working on my thesis. I’ve been prepping for upcoming hoop events and working my regular job. But I’ve also been reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones, traveling (for leisure!! which has been so rare in recent years), and generally focusing on bringing more fun into my life: sports, hobbies, etc.
All of this while going through some pretty uncomfortable introspection, which keeps taking me to new mental highs and lows. This has led to a bit of inactivity on good old social media (I’m a bit behind on replying to messages and such.. sorry guys!), but I’ll be catching up soon! ❤️
