After several forays into nightlife, he turned his attention to the hard techno of style icons such as Jeff Mills, DJ Rush and Dave Clarke. Fabian completes the following steps in the classic way; in the record store and at home on the decks. Since then, his early passion for black gold has never left him; his DJ sets work “vinyl only”. Joel Ruck has been a fixture in the world of electronic dance music for quite some time. He gained his first DJing experience many years ago in Switzerland, but now lives in Hamburg, where he plays at all kinds of clubs, as well as in Berlin. His great passion is vinyl—he doesn’t stick to any particular genre, but one thing is certain: wherever Joel plays, you’re in for some driving, trippy beats! As a co-founder of “Tag 7,” Joel has brought a breath of fresh air to Hamburg’s early-morning club scene.
