At the heart of the home of this previously sold show home, the kitchen brings together a refined mix of earthy, organic tones, while still leaning into a modern, on-trend aesthetic.
Designing a show home requires a careful balance between creativity and connection. It’s an opportunity to push the boundaries of design, something we love doing here at Maric.
At the same time, it has to resonate.
A show home should feel aspirational, but still approachable, allowing a wide range of clients to walk through the space and envision it as their own.
A peek inside this Falcon Lake paradise.
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the living space with natural light, blurring the line between indoors and out. The kitchen leans into a soft, neutral palette layered with warm wood accents, bringing an effortless, elevated chalet feel into the heart of the home.
Designed for slow summer days, the screened-in porch extends the living space with a cozy lounge and dining area. Perfect for morning coffees, evening dinners, and everything in between.
And up top, the boathouse rooftop patio offers 180° views, allowing one to soak up the sun from dawn to dusk.
On the exterior, a mix of stone, wood, and deeper tones allows the home to settle naturally into its surroundings— complementing the beauty of Falcon Lake, never competing.

A fire pit for evenings by the water, dual docks for endless lake days, and uninterrupted 180° views framed through expansive windows and a sprawling lakefront make this property truly exceptional.

Project Niakwa is underway. A full home tear down and rebuild.
In-office, this project is currently in the early design phase as selections come together.
On-site, the foundation and structure of this home are already taking shape.
We’re excited to share more of this project as it unfolds.
Hosmer was another full home renovation rooted in potential.
Set on a beautifully treed lot, the original home had great bones but needed a thoughtful reimagining to bring it to life.
The existing layout worked in our favour, requiring only minimal structural changes. The two biggest shifts in this home were relocating the laundry, and re-positioning the front entryway.
Previously sitting beside the kitchen, the laundry area disrupted the flow of the main living space. We transformed that area into a custom bar and seamlessly integrated the laundry into hallway cabinetry—creating a cleaner, more cohesive feel throughout.
We also re-positioned the front entryway—moving it from a side entrance that opened directly into the living room to a front-facing door, allowing for a generous foyer and a much more welcoming landing space.
Layered with elevated, moody finishes, the home now tells a completely different story. Statement lighting, rich wood tones, deep colour, and natural materials come together to create a space that feels both grounded and refined.
We’ve entered the finishing stages of the Ash Cove show home build where the vision truly begins to take shape.
Cabinet bases are now being installed, while our finishing carpenters are on-site completing the detailed millwork, including paneling, crown moulding, and wainscoting. Each element is carefully crafted to bring depth, texture, and a sense of refinement to the home.
Looking ahead, the next phase of work includes: countertops being templated and produced at @carraratile , followed by cabinet uppers, flooring and tile installation, and painting.
Every step brings us closer to a fully realized home. We can’t wait to share it with you.
