POV: It’s not unethical to change jobs or businesses. A wise woman once told me, “Women often stay longer than we should.” And the moment she said it, I knew those words were for me. I had stayed too long. And God was making it clear that it was time to make a move. There are seasons to stay planted and build long roots. And there are seasons where you lovingly put something beautiful to rest so something new can grow. Every time He has expanded my territory, it has required me to sit at a new table, learn a new circle, trust Him with my reputation, and walk forward with open hands. And those transitions done in obedience and integrity have grown me more than comfort ever could. So if you’re in a season of staying, stay well. And if you’re in a season of going, go well. Integrity is not measured by whether we stay or leave, but by how we do it. Let your heart, your reputation, and your obedience to God speak for themselves. If He says stay, root deep. Spent the morning recording for Wyatt Matters, now airing on both radio and TV (so fun to watch how this platform keeps growing). Today we went straight into a big one: Anger. Not the big dramatic kind. The kind that shows up when you’re yelling at Siri because she “misheard you again.” Or when you’re aggressively shouting “REPRESENTATIVE!” into a customer service line like it’s going to speed things up. 🙃 If we’re honest, a lot of us have anger sitting just under the surface. It doesn’t take much to poke it. And yet Scripture tells us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. That verse hits a little different when you realize you just lost your peace over hold music 😆 I loved this conversation because it wasn’t about shaming emotion. It was about stewarding it. Anger isn’t sin. But what we do with it matters. Grateful for platforms like Wyatt Matters where we get to talk about real life through a biblical lens.
