āephemeraā is a multi-sensory exploration of scent, memory, and printed matter, where fragrance is transformed from a sealed object into a tactile experience.
The image research behind each card draws directly from Egon Labās ethos and aesthetic, weaving references from films such as āJubileeā, āParis Is Burningā and āVelvet Goldmineā.
each card is designed to be scratched with a coin and sniffed, emphasizing materiality as a key element in the construction of memory. The cards are housed in a collectible box, conceived as an object of preservation in itself.
together, they transform perfume sampling into an intimate, sensory archive, inviting the viewer not only to see the collection, but to activate it, hold it, and remember it.
