I know summer has long since passed but this post is right on time. One of the highlights of Margot’s summer was being cast in the short film “Missy’s Voice” that is coming out soon. Written by Karen Goeller and directed by Joe Gawalis, the film tells the story of a young girl who finds her confidence and her voice amidst bullies who want nothing more than to see her fail. The film’s anti-bullying message is directed at kids, but in a world where being mean is increasingly becoming the norm, adults may want to pay attention as well.
Margot had so much fun during filming and is fortunate to have worked with a cast of talented young actresses, an enthusiastic crew, a great writer and one passionate director. Thanks to everyone for making it happen!

It was just a week and a half ago that Margot was in NYC, at a BKA Summer Intensive. Kurt and his team of Broadway professionals make sure every kid feels confident and shines on stage. Margot enjoyed spending the week with kids who shared her love of musical theatre and I’m grateful for the encouragement, growth and the way BKA applauds not only a child’s skill but also their passion and heart. Thanks for a great week. Margot’s looking forward to coming back next summer!

We’re headed to New York for the @broadwaykidsauditions winter performance weekend! Margot’s looking forward to learning from such talented professionals but a little nervous about being solo on stage.

I’m really proud of the extra work Margot’s put into this role. When the show’s over, I know she’ll feel the same.
2024 was a challenging year for Margot but also a year of growth. She had far fewer auditions but on the bright side, for MUCH bigger projects/parts. There were a handful of callbacks, one hold (but released) and she booked one web series.
The two-day shoot was a great experience—working with a talented young team on a small (but very well-lit) set. Craft services was bottled water, goldfish, and Rice Krispie Treats (which was all Margot needed!) and there was a cat on set which made Margot’s day.
As Margot gets older, opportunities are fewer, but she’s grateful for every chance she gets and any chance Margot has to be on a set, practice her craft and learn is a big win. Here’s to more opportunities for everyone in 2025!
