When I look back at my life, I remember always wishing and praying for a perfect life with a husband who loves me and kids running around. No one ever tells you that the road to your dreams isn't a smooth and paved one. And that nothing will ever be perfect all the time. You figure that out on your own. But faith is what gets you places, because without it you get stuck inside the hard parts with no other way out, just a waste of time. And that idea sticks with me. Keep going. You'll get there. If you want it, you'll get there. And maybe our lives are just a practice run, prepping you for the parent you will one day become. Raising children in the light (and possibly darkness) of your experiences and what you learned from them and how you dealt with them.
And today, as I sit in front of my 3 absolute miracles, I am proud of the way I am mothering them. Because they don't always see me happy and perfect( as much as I try) but they do see how I get myself out of the hard stuff, with all my will and with the goal to come out on the happy side smiling. And I think that's such an important lesson. Life is a rollercoaster. Our kids have to know that life can be happy and fruitfull if we CHOOSE for it to be. Happy mother's Day to all the rockstars out there who choose happiness and choose their kids to be part of that.
We are so sad to share that due to unforeseen weather conditions and multiple canceled flights, we will unfortunately not be able to attend the Spring Show in NYC tomorrow.
We were truly looking forward to seeing so many of you and sharing our new collection in person.
For those who had appointments scheduled, we will be reaching out to you individually via email.
If you were hoping to visit us, we are working on arranging a private viewing and would love to connect. Please email us at [email protected] or send us a DM.
