May has arrived with fresh green leaves and plenty of wildlife activity appearing across the park. Fledglings are starting to leave nests, finches are feeding on dandelion seeds, and swifts have returned. Listen out for the noises of the rookery near the Children’s Village, where chicks are close to fledging. Along the river, look out for mayflies, alderflies and stoneflies.
