I got to close out my era of hosting Club Motte storytelling with a packed house, a shower of flowers and a smooth transition of power. Literally a night to remember. This event, and all the people who’ve come in and out of it over the last 12 years, have helped me become — become a better host, a better storyteller, a better time-keeper, a better Berliner (don’t @ me), a better listener, a better human. My heart is full. Let the next wild rumpus begin. I’m leaving everyone in the very capable hands of @lesley_rw , @askdeepr and @csillaguerilla . Onward and forever upward! 🚀

She loves getting to be a benevolent judge at Smut Slam almost as much as she loves shopping for smutty lingerie. ***** Jonny Tiernan (he/him) @jonnytiernan As the editor in chief of The Berliner, Jonny’s job is knowing what’s moving and shaking around Berlin. That’s why he’s such a big fan of the slam! In obligatory Berlin fashion, Jonny is also a DJ. He specialises in DiscoPunk and good-time party vibes and publishes mixes on soundcloud under his Acid Gold banner. ***** Sarah Jane Schmidt (she/her) @sjs917 I’m a kinky, queer, polyam lady slowly working my way through dating Berlin. You may recognize me from my profiles on okcupid, tinder, feeld, fetlife, or her. I have years of experience turning bad dates into entertaining stories to tell on the good dates. I also keep busy in the feminist collectively run @shechoirberlin and working somewhere between science and tech. ***** The Judge lineup is stellar and the prize collection is awesome, with sweet swag from @othernatureshop , @theberlinermag , and @satisfyercom .
