Itās with great sadness that we announce the permanent closure of our beloved Mardy shop. š
It has been a challenging yet incredible two years, and we came to this decision to put our family first. Running a small business is incredibly tough, especially in a seasonal town like Fowey, and itās become too difficult, so itās time to focus on ourselves for now.
We want to thank everyone who helped make Mardy what it is and especially everyone who supported us by coming again and again, your custom and positive feedback has meant so much to us.
Weād like to think itās not quite the end for Mardy, we hope thereāll be a Mardy 2.0 in the future, but until thenā¦ merci!
Weāll be open Thursday to Sunday next week for October half term, finishing off on a classic doughnut Sunday on the 3rd of November.

Exciting news everyone! For one weekend only(3rd and 4th of August )we will taking over the lovely Mardy Bakery! You can expect our usual menu plus some new items and of course we will be honoring Agatha's very popular donut Sunday! Weāre on the lookout for a front of house person to run the Mardy shop while weāre baking and prepping away!
This is a part-time seasonal position in our Mardy shop in Fowey (2-3 days a week, including weekends).
Prior experience in hospitality would be ideal, barista skills essential and food & pĆ¢tisserie knowledge/love a huge plus!
Pay always above living wage.

A gorgeous little coffee and pastry house ran by a traditional french couple with the most perfect donuts!
We went on Donut Sunday and had the best custard donut EVER. Other days they do pastries of different sorts and of course a hot drink to accompany!
Itās so quaint and cute inside and out, itās a must visit!
