Hi everyone, here’s a behind the scenes look from my recent night beach shoot with the incredible @sara.kiing . For this shoot, I wanted to continue the night photography energy, and create something with a dark cinematic aesthetic. With shooting at night, a couple of light panels and the right dress, Sara and I made it happen. For my lighting, I’m using two @neewer 660 PRO RGB LED Video Lights, which worked perfectly for this shoot. I’ve been using these lights for over three years now, and I love the results I can achieve with them. With the added benefit of them being battery powered, it makes for easy usage on location. It was wonderful to shoot with Sara again. Not a stranger to being in front of the camera, she brought a calm confidence while we were shooting. A wonderful quality which shows in the shots. I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with the lovely @katie.marie.gaudin at a mini collaboration shoot with @moxiekphotography a while back. It was great to meeting new people to shoot with and talking shop about photography too. @katie.marie.gaudin did a stellar job in front of the camera and I love how the shots turned out. Hi everyone, here’s a behind the scenes look at how I did this photoshoot with @octoberhartline at @3sgstudio , using their new continuous light wall. This is a custom 8 foot tall by 5 foot tall wide continuous light wall, with mobile capability to move around the studio. For this shoot, I wanted to use the light wall to emulate a large natural light look. For the production design, I’m using a large 30 foot canvas backdrop. For the lighting set-up, I placed the light wall off to camera right, and a large v-flat on the white side on camera left to fill in the shadows. With everything locked in, we got our shots, and I love the results we were able to capture! I had a great time shooting again with @alli_fenty back at @creativestudiosd . Once more, she did a great job and brought her best on camera.
