I spent all last week 3D printing and just had to make something with my hands... I found a piece of rusted sheet metal behind my garage... hand cut, hand shaped with a ball peen hammer, inset red textured stain glass, soldered together, carefully buffed, leaving darker patina in the pits. This is my hand made flying heart pin made for the love of my life.

So proud of this 06 X5, he's getting old and squeaky and in need of some cosmetic fixes but he has and still runs like a Champ he's taken me to Portland and back, carried me to too many Cons to count and now two Burns! My second Burningman is mission completed. It's been one week since it ended, and I'm still feeling all the emotions. Despite all the craziness of this year's Burn like the sand storm, rain storms, murder (in the camp next to mine!), and a baby born! I'm left with deep appreciation for all the random connections, friends made, and the newfound inspiration I so needed. As expected, the art was amazing, and the music had me dancing like I was a 20 year old raver again. My favorite part was having the love of my life at my side and celebrating our honeymoon part 2! This year was extra special the way our camp PlayaDick organically fell together with every campmate being a perfect part to the puzzle. Much love for The Future Is Weird without them, we would have never started this adventure. It's always sad packing up and saying goodbye to the amazing camp mates that made the Burn extra special. All I can say is I'm ready to do it all again next year!
Burn 25 so far has been quite the adventure. Despite the ocational wind and rain storms, there has been ample time for amazement, wonder, inspiration, and all-out fun! The weather should be perfect from here on out, with four days to go!
