I started painting the Biggest mural of my career for The Community FoodBank of Central Alabama @feedingal this past month and here is our progress!
.
We’ve worked on the design and preparations for this project for 9 months leading up to now, with my amazing team @dewonmotonart@fitzsignsmurals hitting it hard with me the past few weeks!
.
This will be the largest mural in the state clocking in at over 15,000 sqft for one of the most important charitable organizations of our greater community, and I feel so honored to paint this for their new warehouse!
.
More clips to come, we just got on the news!, and if you’re heading on Lakeshore Pkwy toward Bessemer look for us and give us a honk!

So happy to see my mural all lit up while enjoying the soft opening of @eatmagnoliapoint .
They even lit the Headlights!
What a beautiful restaurant, the food and vibes are stellar, and y’all gotta check it out!
It is my deepest pleasure to present my new mural simply titled “Apple Girl” now living in Leeds AL.
I fell in love with this beautiful scene the moment it came to my mind. Expressing the splendor of a child’s fearless wonder. Here a girl hangs light in the crisp clean air, on the farthest branch, stretching for that glorious apple. And the universe shines on her with love for her purity and courage. It warms my heart.
In my art I’m often drawn to unearthing this childlike spirit, drawing from my inner child, when things felt pure, and the present moment was all I knew.
I want to go back there, but in my adult life all I can do now is try and bring those old things, or maybe I should say those young things, into my adult life now.
Why is it that my complex understanding of society, my psychological behaviors, my past regrets and future fears keep me from looking up for new apples? Why must I always strive to keep “my feet on the ground”?
Maybe today, I’ll go climb a tree…
Thank you so much @leedsmainstreet for allowing this design I’ve held onto for 3 years finally come alive. Thankyou @yellowhammer_antiques for the beautiful wall. And thanks @cadybydesign for assistance on the project.

The Birmingham Batman Mural
I’ve dreamed of painting this mural since I learned about Willie Perry 5 years ago and I’m so proud to finally see it come to fruition.
Thanks to Mike Moroun, owner of the new Magnolia Point coming soon, I was able to spend 3 months on this project, pushing for a unique perspective composition that makes Willie feel like he’s driving out of the scene while pulling us all into a wholesome nostalgia of the past. Showing how he brought light into this city, and the city adored him.
As the project evolved I’ve been able to meet Marquetta, Willie’s daughter, and her family. Her stories, and meditating on this man’s legacy touched my heart and painting this mural over the past 6 days felt absolutely spiritual.
To top it off Kendra Woodfin and her son came out to see us as he has decided to write his school report on the Batman. Coincidentally the same day the news showed up.
I’m grateful to have @dewonmotonart with me on this project, what an incredibly talented painter and good friend. And I convinced him to dress up as Willie from the old 80s feature. In which Marquetta was in tears when dewon said she could have the custom helmet he made. (The original was lost)
I’m absolutely grateful for this journey and may the Good Samaritan spirit of the Birmingham Batman live on for generations to come!

For a decade I’ve been enchanted by the beautiful @ruffnermt and the hidden treasures that tell tales of the past.
I was asked to create a digital mural for the entrance to @walmart in Roebuck Springs representing the area and I knew exactly what I wanted to capture. A magical childhood setting with the changing colors of fall and the sunlight warming the scene as the play among the mountains landmarks. I loved this one.

Might release as a print later on if anyone is interested.
