50 today. If someone told me as a kid that following my dreams & passion, enduring the hard times, staying relentlessly curious, and jumping off the ledge DAILY was the way to get here — I’d do it all over again…and I wouldn’t change a motherf*cking thing about it. Grateful for everyone who’s been on this ride with me and made it so much better. Birthday week in Mexico: eating (tacos, bugs, all of it), living, praying (with a shaman, of course), taking it all in… Here’s to the next 50. P.S apparently in Mexico I’m considered a Doctor 😉👀

Can’t believe after 25+ years in music I finally took a job! Excited to announce I’m joining @warnermusic @ada_music as the Head Of U.S. Being an entrepreneur my entire career and understanding the needs of artists, creatives, managers and independent companies like mine, what better way to ensure that I can continue to help empower and support the indie music business by going inside! I will continue to lead my company @groundwerk and I look forward to adding my efforts in the next chapter of @ada_music success! Link in bio

The heavens gained an Angel this past Sunday and today we laid my Mother to rest. I wish the world could have met my Mom...felt her spirit. I truly believe what was running through her veins was not from this earth. Her smile could power the world and her undying will to live life to its fullest was unmatched. When I was about 6 years old she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Not long after that her condition progressed, eventually paralyzing her from the neck down. Most would have given up, believed life was over, but not her. It was her determination and mental toughness to live her best life no matter the circumstance that I saw so early on that still fuels me to this day. She was the backbone of our family and anyone that had the privilege of meeting her knew how rare and special of a woman she really was. She was an inspiration, a gift, the true definition of a blessing. I was so thankful to be by her side till her very last breath. Even tho she was incoherent, I played Bruno Mars (she loved him) and I talked with her extensively about life and how I knew she’ll be watching over us forever in a much better place....she could hear me....I felt it. Moments after she passed I had the most still, complete peace in the deepest part of my soul. She was gone and I will forever cherish her spirt inside me and never take for granted how lucky I was to have her. I don’t think I have ever seen my mom cry...even through the worst of times, struggle and pain, but after she passed I saw one tear run down her left cheek. I wiped it away. That one tear was worth a million more she kept inside her all these years. But it wasnt a tear of sorrow, it was a tear of joy, knowing her purpose while here, leaving behind a legacy that has impacted so many people. While many of you didn’t know my mom, I would love if this story is something you can reflect on when life is challenging you, when times are bad, when things seem impossible. Difficulty and adversity is all perspective. Life will be hard but how you react to your situation is what determines your outcome. #RIPMOM
