My graduation project ‚Im Himmel, da gibt’s kein Bier‘ is still on exhibition at @konnekt.berlin as part of our group show with @jahrgangachtzehn until the 23rd of June.
'Don't drink so much, rather have another beer!’ - with these words, the priest ended the beer tent service. It was 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning. The people were given a blessing and the beer was served in liter mugs.
My work is a poetic journey through the world of beer. It is about care, repression, passion and excess. It is about the love of beer and the difficulty of refusing an invitation. It is about taking constant availability for granted. Beer is a ubiquitous cultural asset, a social cement, a source of comfort, destruction and bliss. The work is like an intoxication. Moments of euphoria are followed by moments of melancholy. Silence follows ecstasy. And then it all starts all over again.

‘Sauft’s net so vui, trinkt’s lieber no a Bier!’ (Sauft nicht so viel, trinkt lieber noch ein Bier!) - mit diesen Worten beendete der Priester den Bierzeltgottesdienst. Es war 10 Uhr an einem Sonntagmorgen. Den Menschen wurde der Segen erteilt und das Bier in Literkrügen ausgeschenkt.
Meine Arbeit ist eine poetische Reise durch die Welt des Bieres. Sie handelt von Sorgfalt, Verdrängen, Leidenschaft und Exzess. Sie handelt von der Liebe zum Bier und der Schwierigkeit eine Einladung auszuschlagen. Sie handelt von der Selbstverständlichkeit der ständigen Verfügbarkeit. Bier ist allgegenwärtiges Kulturgut, gesellschaftlicher Kitt, stiftet Trost, Zerstörung und Seeligkeit. Die Arbeit ist wie ein Rausch. Momenten der Euphorie folgen Momente der Melancholie. Stille folgt auf Ekstase. Und dann geht alles wieder von vorne los.

With attention to the finest details, we have crafted a timeless kitchen within our project SPA98. This kitchen is brought to life through the incorporation of sophisticated white Carrara marble, pristine white cabinet fronts, and beautifully finished white oiled interior elements.

Our project SCH51 aimed to transform an old factory loft into a comfortable living space, with a focus on achieving a warm and inviting atmosphere. To accomplish this, we incorporated custom-built furniture crafted from warm toned oak wood. A warm pink tone accentuates some individual elements.
