Yes, and...
Addressing the issue can be more than just changing a pad.
We try to be hella thorough when inspecting leaks.
-check for dents in vulnerable places, this horn had post damage
-make sure tone hole is round and even
-dress the tone hole, make sure edges are smooth. Sharp edges cut into pads and reduce the longevity
-true up the pad cup
-straighten the posts so that the mechanism lays evenly.
-when the pad is in place and seated, check with a leak light. A feeler gauge checks leaks with a bit more precision
