‘Someone pushed me whilst I was playing. The bone had started to grow crooked. Now, thanks to the operation, I can walk and I’ve gone back to school.’

Hello, I am delighted to invite you to the photography exhibition “You Are Not Alone. Faces Beyond Disability”, curated by the Ambrosoli Foundation, which will feature my photographs taken during a photo reportage in Kalongo. The exhibition will be held at the Fondazione Luigi Rovati, Padiglione d'Arte – Corso Venezia 52, Milan. The opening will be a private event for donors and the press only, but I’d be delighted to meet anyone who’d like to drop by for a chat and view the exhibition together on 7 May from 6.30 pm onwards. I look forward to seeing you there.

One of the boys, when I asked him if he liked going to school, he replied: "I like it a lot, even if I have to walk a lot because the school is far from where I live, but I learn a lot of new things and, above all, I play with my friends".
