Il Metodo Olivetti | Design, estetica e funzionalità [Editorial Design Project] Design, aesthetics and functionality: these are the pillars on which Olivetti’s innovation is founded, recognised and admired globally for its extraordinary ability to revolutionize design. This editorial project was born as a personal tribute to a company that has profoundly marked the international design scene, a company whose method and vision inspired me as a designer. This project explores the methodology behind Olivetti design, focusing on four main areas: logo design and branding, visual communication, product design, and architecture. The volume is enriched with an external case inspired by the “Libri Rossi”, the volumes that encapsulated the company’s corporate image, written and designed between 1971 and 1977. The book contained within is instead inspired by the design of company manuals. These details pays homage to Olivetti’s visual and design heritage. ——

This is pyrolusite, a black mineral deposited in the cracks of a slab of Solnhofen limestone, now displayed at the Natural History Museum in London. I was impressed by the way it branched out along the fracture to create a shape that seems almost intentional and sacred. That’s where my visual exploration began. Fracture and construction.

Lasciatemi Cucinare nasce da un’idea di @calmo.lu ,un format in cui lui e vari artisti realizzano brani inediti mentre cucinano insieme. Dopo 7 episodi il progetto si è concluso con un evento live (assurdo) da @miscusi.family a Milano, con la partecipazione di tutti gli artisti che ne hanno fatto parte. Ho avuto il piacere di curare la parte visiva del progetto: title design, cover artwork dell’album e design dei gadget (le schiscette regalate durante l’evento). 🍝 Motion by @viisions as always ❤️

[ENTO] AI TYPEFACE VISUAL EXPERIMENT 
I had fun creating an experimental typography with the support of AI.

After selecting an appropriate typeface, I did a search for references on materials and colours, then loaded them into the AI and merged them to achieve the desired style by setting the typeface as the basic structure to be kept. I wrote simple prompts and selected the best generated results and then post-produced them in Photoshop.


I’m satisfied with the result and find very stimulating the experimental use of these new technologies to research or develop new visual styles.
