Absolutely surreal couple weeks filming my BBC show for the Scottish election.
Have basically spent the last few weeks pretending to be a journalist, and with such a mad schedule at times it felt like we were actually running for office. Had some incredible access - were in the spin room at the Leaderâs Debate and got to go behind the scenes across the campaign trail, as well as sitting down with candidates (and the legendary Sir John Curtice) who were all good sports with my daft questions.
Was a dream project for me to get to do, had a blast filming it with a great crew at the Comedy Unit and the brilliant director Colin Murray. Itâs up on iPlayer and the BBC Scotland Comedy YouTube channel now if you want to give it a swatch ahead of the polls opening on Thursday!
đłď¸ My new series on the Scottish election âWhy Vote?â is out now
Itâs made up of 6 episodes where I spoke to a different political party to see if going to the ballot box is really worth the bother

Stand-up and podcast host Marc Jennings questions whether it is worth making the journey from scunnered to politically engaged.âŁ

Everyone says voting matters, but no one really explains why! So, Marcâs going to ask. Not as an expert. Not as a journalist. But as a comedian with a genuine curiousity. Heâs determined to get under the skin of the people and parties shaping Scotland right now. âŁ
