Amazing night back at the King’s on Friday Thanks to @glasgowcomedy for having me and to everyone who came out to see the show, incredible crowd and was a joy to play to you all in that beautiful room! Great to have @stephenbucomedy & @stuartmcpherson_ for opening the show for me and to see a lot of pals there too 📸 by @cursetheseeyes (except the ones that have obviously been taken on a camera phone)

Absolutely surreal couple weeks filming my BBC show for the Scottish election. Have basically spent the last few weeks pretending to be a journalist, and with such a mad schedule at times it felt like we were actually running for office. Had some incredible access - were in the spin room at the Leader’s Debate and got to go behind the scenes across the campaign trail, as well as sitting down with candidates (and the legendary Sir John Curtice) who were all good sports with my daft questions. Was a dream project for me to get to do, had a blast filming it with a great crew at the Comedy Unit and the brilliant director Colin Murray. It’s up on iPlayer and the BBC Scotland Comedy YouTube channel now if you want to give it a swatch ahead of the polls opening on Thursday!

Stand-up and podcast host Marc Jennings questions whether it is worth making the journey from scunnered to politically engaged.⁣ ⁣ Everyone says voting matters, but no one really explains why! So, Marc’s going to ask. Not as an expert. Not as a journalist. But as a comedian with a genuine curiousity. He’s determined to get under the skin of the people and parties shaping Scotland right now. ⁣ ⁣ Watch Marc Jennings' Genuine Question: Why Vote on BBC Scotland's Comedy channel on YouTube - link in bio.⁣ ⁣ #WhyVote // #MarcJenningsGenuineQuestion
