It’s been a very long time, and through no lack of passion through the pandemic, personal loss, love and determination with no one but each other, we are finally able to tell you that this October we are bringing to you our new record, SOUR TOOTH.

I am so excited to be joining an amazing cast voicing the character “Lily” in the incredible game “There Are No Ghosts At The Grand”, coming out on Xbox and PC this year :) And I think you’re all gonna love it 🥹
Anyone who’s been following me for any significant time will know how passionate I am about video games, how much of my life I put into them lol. And it’s a dream to be part of one like this that is so musical, and has such an incredible story and so original in its concept.
All the love in the world to the developers at Friday Sundae, Anil and Rachel Glendinning for all their hard work and passion being put into the game, I’ve watched it all and feel so proud to be part of it. We filmed a music video to promote on the @futuregamesshow to showcase the fun music on the game, which you can find on @igndotcom YouTube channel :)

I think this is one of the songs we’ve been playing the longest since our band began. the only song that has never left the setlist, and one of my many many songs that begin with the letter R, which not many people know is a secret love note to our Roanna. Anyway 🪄✨

I’m really really pleased and proud to say that I am now an @officialhammondorgan artist. Anyone that knows me as a musician or a human knows how much these instruments mean to me. The first one I ever played was at @peterproducer ’s studio , at the age of 18 when we recorded our first album. I was a classical pianist and had never touched anything like it and was thrown in at the deep end playing this kind of music. Since then I have spent my career developing my bubble style, my tones and a genuine relationship and affinity with these incredible vintage organs 😶 I have never played a Hammond instrument on stage though, and although always being proud of coming somewhere close, never quite found my ideal live tone with drawbar clones, whether putting them through amps or modellers or whatever. I have never managed to sound how I do in the studio. Until nowww 🥹😭 I ordered this SK Pro just a few days before our shows last week, and obviously gave myself very little time to learn it and program in all my sounds but I just wanted to make sure I got to play it before the last show of the year 🥹 It’s obviously the most incredible thing to finally feel properly represented in that way live.
I just wrote and deleted a big detailed paragraph about the percussion response and how perfect the leakage and perc settings are and the EQs and how accurate the onboard Leslie is (or the 11pin Leslie out if you want to use a real one) but I don’t wanna bore most of you haha. and it’s not just that. It’s being so warmly welcomed and recognised by this prestigious company that I have admired and respected for so long. Love to @officialhammondorgan and @hammondeurope for your welcome and support and thank you for having me 🙏🏼❤️

So we’ve been putting everything into pouring all the love and care into our new record for the last little while, and I know these days everything, spesh the music industry is very NOW NOW, but we really really care, and just like with FM, we want people to still love and care about this new record in 10 years. So for those asking we have taken our time, and taken care.
