Auditions for the 2026 Marching Mizzou Drumline are OPEN 🥁
Video auditions must be completed by Friday, May 15, 2026, followed up by the in-person audition process during our Marching Mizzou Mini Camp, which is held from Saturday, June 6th to Sunday, June 7th on campus. Final placement and official acceptance will take place at the conclusion of our Marching Mizzou Mini Camp. Exceptions are made for those marching drum corps.

Join us in welcoming Graduate Teaching Assistant, Emanuel Guzman, to Marching Mizzou Band 141 🎼
Emanuel (Manny) Guzman was born and raised in Joliet, IL. He earned his bachelor’s of music education from Illinois State University in December 2020. At ISU, Manny performed in various concert ensembles, such as the Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, and Wind Symphony. Additionally, Manny performed with the Big Red Marching Machine and the ISU Trombone Studio. Manny has been teaching 5th-12th grade band for the Okaw Valley School District in Bethany and Findlay, IL. There, he directs the beginning band, middle school concert band, and high school concert band. He also directs the Okaw Valley Marching Timberwolves who regularly compete around central Illinois.

Please welcome Graduate Teaching Assistant, William Licop, to Marching Mizzou Band 141 🎶
William Licop, originally from Platte City, Missouri, earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Northwest Missouri State University. He has served as Director of Bands in the South Harrison School District since 2020, teaching grades 5–12. He directs multiple ensembles, including marching band, concert band, and pep band. He remains active as a clinician, adjudicator, and collaborator across northwest Missouri, contributing to regional festivals and honor ensembles. In 2024, under his direction, the South Harrison Concert Band was selected to perform at the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference. He is very excited to continue his graduate studies in wind conducting at the University of Missouri.

Congratulations, Noah Mabb, on being selected as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Marching Mizzou Band 141 🎶
Hailing from the small town of Roxana, Noah began playing tuba in 6th grade after originally starting on the trumpet the year prior. Noah is currently finishing up his Bachelor’s degree in music performance at SIUE. While at SIUE, Noah studied with Professor Matthew Kuebler and performed in many of the ensembles at the school including the wind symphony led by Dr. Ruben Gomez, and the orchestra led by Dr. Michael Mishra. Noah also performed with ensembles outside of the school like The St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. Noah is super excited to get started with his teaching assistantship at Mizzou!
