We were truly wow-ed when we visited Marcfait Event Space, an impressive venue located in Almere Centrum. Owned by Michael and Priscilla Roos van Raadshooven, who are also part owners of Toko Gembira Almere, Marcfait offers a strategic and spacious location for various events. How strategic is it? Well, it’s a 5-minute walk from Almere train station, a 25-minute train ride from Amsterdam, and conveniently next to a parking garage. It’s so accessible for both local and international guests. Easy peasy.  The venue boasts two large halls: Fait Hall, a 450 m² space with a standing capacity of 700 people, and Marc Hall, a 300 m² space that can accommodate up to 300 people. These halls can be connected and are equipped with a range of facilities, including a kitchen, makeup and dressing room, bar(s), lighting, projector, premium sound system, and even wheelchair access. Additionally, Marcfait offers catering services, including buffet options, drinks, and snack packages, making it a practical choice for hosting events. Marcfait is suitable for a variety of occasions such as wedding parties, concerts, conferences, birthday parties, and much more. The venue understands that each client has unique needs, which is why they provide a package calculator on their website. This feature allows clients to tailor their event requirements, whether it's for an hourly event or a multi-day affair.  One striking feature of Marcfait is its ceiling, embellished with Batik Tulis prints. This design choice reflects Priscilla and Michael's pride in their Indonesian heritage, adding a unique cultural touch to the event space. When asked about their expansion from culinary ventures to the event space business, Priscilla shared a heartfelt response: “It’s about legacy. It’s a family dream to create something that will be inherited by the next generation.” Marcfait is not just a venue for hire; it also hosts its own events. Upcoming highlights include Sneakerfait on September 21-22, 2024, and a stand-up comedy show by Pandji Pragiwaksono on September 24, 2024.
