A Night to Remember for MJ! (Look at the joy in MJ’s Face 🙏🏿❤️)
Just a few days ago, my son MJ broke his wrist playing in the backyard. It’s been tough for him, so to lift his spirits, we headed to the Clippers game last night—where he ended up having an absolutely epic experience.
MJ is currently working on a biography project on former President Barack Obama for school, and somehow, fate put us in the perfect spot to introduce him to the former president himself. With the entire arena hoping to meet Obama, I had to think fast. Leaning on my Clippers love and Columbia connection, I made sure MJ got his moment. And wow—Obama singled him out and gave him the warmest reception imaginable.
As if that wasn’t enough, MJ also met Jalen Rose and Derrick Jones Jr.—a dream night for any young sports fan.
His hand still hurts, but his spirit? Stronger than ever. Moments like these remind me why I love life.
So blessed and honored to meet the former President! More importantly, my son now has an unforgettable moment 🙏🏿❤️
