Backyard 4.12.25 ❤️🔥
Every dish at this dinner had an ingredient from our garden, how cool is that?! Marco’s goal has always been to grow produce for me to use and seeing it happen is really awesome. AND we added a chilled tea at the end of dinner. Marco steeped mint, nettle, alyssum, and lavender from the garden into a refreshing little sip to help with digestion and end our meal.
•Asparagus Soup Sip

Anchovy and shaved radish from the garden

Fun fact about me: I love magazines. I love the physicality of holding one in your hands, the way the paper feels, dog-earring a page for later, bending the left side around the right to hold it easier while you read, and seeing beautiful photos in print. So this summer I made one!

I didn’t take any “maternity photos” but I handed Marco a film camera and told him to take photos of me. We ripped through rolls like it was no one’s business. It was hard to appreciate the changes that were happening to my body then. I look back at these photos with a new love, gratitude, and I see all beauty 💫
Marcella plans, Ren laughs.
My leo, lucky number 7, full moon girl. Thanks for taking me on one of the wildest rides of my life.
For as much as I hated pregnancy I give birth 10/10. Nothing went as planned and I still loved every second, sad it’s over, and would do it again. Being a woman rocks. I made that girl!
