They opened the new riverfront park!! The section that was previously closed-- the esplanade wharf-- and prevented one from walking or biking from bywater all the way into the quarter is now open and it's really pretty nice! A playground, picnic areas, a big covered pavillion with stage, a kids playground, swinging benches, native plantings...it's pretty cool!
