Yesterday was one of those moments you feel in your body before you can put it into words.
I had the honor of unveiling Echoes of Sharjah, a collaboration with H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi @saqshj What began as one of his photographs of the Central Souk evolved into a layered art experience.
Physical panels, digital worlds and interactive installations woven together into one story.
Each panel carries a theme that defines this emirate. Heritage, history, trade, education, innovation and the future. Individually they speak their own language. Together they form one horizon, many worlds.
Surrounding the artwork, immersive digital installations bring these themes to life. They move, respond and invite the viewer to step inside the narrative rather than just observe it. Art not as an object, but as an experience.
To open this installation together, and to be trusted with translating the soul of Sharjah into art, is something I will carry with me for a long time. Deeply grateful to everyone who believed in this vision and helped bring it to life.
Super proud to share that I had the honor of designing the constructor’s trophy for the @f1dutchgp Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2024 🏆! Inspired by my fascination with traditional Delft Blue, I draw these racing symbols with Dutch heritage elements and collaborated with the incredible artisans at @royaldelft_official to hand-paint this @studiopietboon trophy. I wanted to create a modern interpretation of the traditional Delft Blue. Every detail was hand painted with the utmost care and respect for their time-honored craftsmanship.
