My heart is still aglow from last week spent with the coolest comedy rock folk band and crew.

Last show of the Beacon Jams fifth anniversary. Over the years I’ve done many shows at this iconic venue, including 4 residencies during Thanksgiving week. I feel a special kinship to this place.

Shot back in July, the design required a substantial venue build-out to create a canyon-like seating layout. Hasan entered by ascending a staircase from under the stage and landed on a small gallows-like platform. The idea was to create a location suitable for a public execution!
My single most favorite concert gag in my design career is the Disco Dreidel designed for Matisyahu’s Festival of Lights Chanukkah concerts! Still in use every year by Matisyahu. Anyone who knows me knows I love exploding light beams off a mirrored surface!!

Two years ago this past week, October 2020 we walked into an empty (dare say deserted) Madison Square Garden to create an intro video for that week’s episode of Beacon Jams. The building hadn’t been used since March 2020. It was eerie… what came out of it was a fun and funny, scary creative sort of a mind f*ck short film, ‘43 Weeks Later’

A year ago this week we shot this amazing special for Moses Storm - Trash White. It aired on HBO Max in early 2022.
@mosesstorm had a vision for this show (you can see the mod he made by hand to show me what he wanted onstage). It was truly a passion project for all involved. Proud of the work and the team!
In these pics you can see Moses himself adjusting and fine tuning the set. He was at the shop helping curate and paint the set a few days before this! There is a rendering as well and some ‘behind the scenes’ pics.
