Depuis plus de vingt ans, une même maison accompagne Stéphanie Bernard.

“As long as your mine” required Cynthia’s full body to be green. We knew we had to be very quick on these full body days as we also had to cover lots of tattoos and also keep Cynthia comfortable (airbrushing across the body can be quite irritating and cold)
I made a green base layer, acting like a primer layer that could be buffed on with a tanning mit for speed and comfort. I turned to my favourite product for tattoo cover, @maqpro creamy air. I mixed the green creamy air with some neon yellow to match up to the custom elphaba colour. I also added some maqpro diluant so it spread easily and quickly with the tanning mit also so it would have a more translucent finish.
First thing first was to cover all of Cynthia’s tattoos with skin tone illustrator concentrate through the airbrush. Then we’d get the green creamy air mix on super quick with the mit, whilst being careful over the tattoo covered areas. Then we’d finish with the custom green mix to even out the base layer. Olive Adjuster was airbrushed across high points of body so it didn’t look too flat. Sealer wasn’t really needed as the custom mix adhered really well to the creamy layer base, it held up really well on set! We finished off with some body freckles!
Body makeup applied by myself and personal prosthetic artist to Cynthia @oliviajerrard_fx@cynthiaerivo was amazing in the chair for this application and made it very easy for us, her body took about an hour to make up and then myself and Olivia had about another 1.5 hours to do the face and ears.
