highlights from this year's General Assembly of the European Geophysics Union (EGU) in Vienna - a busy week where I presented several sonification projects ... and performed two pieces live
I got the opportunity to perfom with the awesome @shanenapalm - Shane Embury of Napalm Death and Dark Sky Burial - we played an extended version of the sonification we did for the Cluster mission documentary "Seas of the Sun" - check out the links @spacerocksofficial - a video of the performance should be on it's way
(shout out to @mattc67p and @alexandermilas for making this happen)
I also got the opportunity to perfom the Matuyama Bruhnes sonification live with an awesome string trio: Marian Holness (violin), Bernard Foing (violin) and Noé Clement (cello)
and finally I gave a talk on sonification as method for science outreach to a entusiastic crowd of researchers and artists
good times in Vienna ... and a lot of work!:)
