Yesterday someone said that they didn’t really consider us a breakfast spot which I thought was funny because we serve breakfast items and coffee in the morning and no one is coming here to get their car serviced.
Today’s special is an egg cooked in shallot and scallion, on top of @farmfireside arugula pesto in a whole grain croissant. Tiny bit of cheddar on top.

Did I publish the Mothers Day menu to the website last Sunday and forget to make a post? Sure did. Perhaps a mom or mom figure in your life is similarly juggling all the things and would love to sit back on Mothers Day and make no food decisions, answer no questions except “coffee or wine?” and admire their locally grown bouquet with all the windows in the house open.
Whatever your plans for Mother’s Day weekend we have some lovely options for pre-order including cakes & quiche. We have bouquets from @windingrootfarm available for pre-order, and a selection of teas, locally roasted coffee beans, mugs and other items in the shop for gifting.
Pre-orders will be available for pickup at the bakery on Saturday May 9th and Sunday May 10th. Please place your order by Monday May 4th on our website. See you soon!
Our weekly flower delivery from Caroline @windingrootfarm has begun, I’m thrilled to finally have a purpose for the coat rack that no one hung their coats on, and we will have some excellent specials at the bakery tomorrow!
