Something pushes me to give
all the energy I can give

I don't understand who,
what or why I am pushed
to do this. It's stronger than me.

someone the same courage

Maybe one note can show someone
that some things may look impossible
but in the end, with the right conditions,
with the right people, they can get done.

making music together

by our dearest Rosetta Tharpe,
who changed music history with
her voice and her guitar.
Some say she invented rock 'n roll.
To us, she did much more,
paving the way for female musicians all over.
⁉️ Did you know that during segregation
she slept in funeral homes
when she was on tour and
there were no hotels in town
that allowed black people?
