An old experiment…
One of my favourite aspects of sci-fi is the exploration of ‘marred’ or otherwise ‘bastardised’ human flesh through surreal means. Wrapped it all together with the following quotes from some fave movies of mine, and a hand-drawn illustration of my favourite screen grabs of each:
#Brazil1985 - “Flesh is weak, Sam. Flesh is a trap. That’s why I’ve made friends with plastic.”
#Videodrome1983 - “Long live the new flesh.”
#AlteredStates1980 - “I’m losing myself... inside and out, my flesh is dissolving.”
