Artistic Inspiration: at Manuela, our menu takes inspiration from the art on our walls. For those in town for Frieze Week, order our seared tuna chop, influenced by Angel Otero’s (b.1981) artwork ‘Lucky Rain’ (2023). While ramps are still in season, we are serving it with maple ponzu glaze and grilled ramp chimichurri. For those not in town this week, fear not, we have a feeling this might become a Manuela favorite!

The season’s finest produce from USGM left to sing in simplicity, over coals or on our wood fired grill. Asparagus, ramps, sugar snaps and more - our greens are on fire 🔥 - if you haven’t ordered our popping grilled peas yet you’re in for a treat.

A bar seat that feels like you’re outside. Most bars are dark; ours is filled with sunlight. Pull up a seat.

Did you know oysters were once New York City’s go-to snack? Oyster carts were as common as hot dog stands. To learn more about their history, and the effort to bring them back to our waters, follow our friends at @billionoyster .

The second the coats come off, SoHo becomes a runway. Our window tables offer a front-row seat—and everything you see is just steps away. For a list of our favorite local shops, head to our journal.

As each dish is set on Mary Heilmann’s tables, her sense of joy comes through. Inspired by 1960s counterculture, her work reflects a New York shaped by Beat poets, experimental art, and creativity. An energy we carry forward today. Mary Heilmann, Floating Tile Tables, (2024)
