Cortes Island Playschool Facilitator
The Cortes Island Playschool, located in Manson’s Hall, has become a full-time $10/day child care centre licensed for 12 kids, with beyond full enrollment. We are looking for facilitators with some training and experience working with young kids, ideally with some form of Early Childhood Educator, or Assistant, training. We are especially in acute need over the summer months.
Do you have a niece or nephew recently out of college who would like a summer job on Cortes? Are you a semi-retired teacher who would like some part-time work? Do you know someone with a bunch of kid experience who would like a supportive ongoing position with benefits and funded training?
$26-$32 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Part-time to full-time, 3 month probationary period with payroll and benefits for the right fit facilitators.
The Cortes Playschool program serves children between the ages of 30 months to school age. It emphasizes outdoor play, child-led learning, and fostering strong social and emotional development in a safe and engaging environment. We are looking for team members who love kids, are great team players and bring with them a calm although playful energy.
