We’ve got a wee bit of fun coming your way this Friday! We've teamed up with the one and only Ruairidh Gray to record the now-legendary, West Coast classic Loch Maree Islands. Heeeyooooch 🏴
After performing it at Hoolie in the Hydro, we’ve been flooded with messages asking for a recording - so we thought, why not? With the song celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, since it reached No.1 in the Scottish charts in 1966, it felt like the perfect time to mark this occasion.
It’ll be available to stream/download from Friday 24th April - a date we chose to mark what would have been the 88th birthday of the late Ceilidh King, Fergie MacDonald MBE, the very man who made it famous, and so a small tribute to a huge legacy.
