Thanking God for another successful year. A year that was very challenging in ways I canāt explain. Nonetheless heās brought us through and weāre still shining. Thank you to everyone thatās made me smile, taken time to check in on me and shown me love. Thank you to my beautiful family that have kept me going. My wife and son Malachi for giving me reason to never give up. I love you ā„ļø. I pray that we all have a better 2023 in good health. More blessings than we can imagine and many more special moments. Life appreciation post.
Iām seeing so many people I know losing loved ones. People that I know sadly passing. Still life is passing by at 100mph.
It feels like Iāve hit a stage where life is really feeling scarily real. Death doesnāt discriminate. I think we had many reminders last year that it can happen to literally anyone at any time.
My kids are growing so quickly Iām wondering where the years are going. I still remember their births like it was just last week.
With all this Iām trying to be as present in each moment as I can be. Itās good to work, itās good to make a living but itās also super important to appreciate each day. Being a parent isnāt easy at all but Iād like to remind my fellow parents that weāre blessed to experience this.
Sometimes we can get stressed when our kids play up, they donāt want to eat, donāt want to sleep or just wonāt stop talking. Even with that again some people are praying for a noisy home or for their child to utter even a word.
I guess what Iām trying to say is Iāve had a reminder to be grateful for each day, each moment and each blessing.
Really we are just lucky to be here.
