2️⃣6️⃣ Day 26 of 90 Mind Body Spirit Upgrade. I’ve been making sure I pay attention to emotional stagnant energy and old childhood patterns in the body. I’m using deep awareness to let emotions that arise be present, pause and then remind myself that life is working for me and not against me. I’m working with breath work and self hypnosis to also release any clinging fears from within. 💪🏽My push ups are getting better - I notice them getting easier but it still sucks doing them - not gonna lie. 😭 I’m not quite over the hump of struggling and that’s ok - 40 pushups 10 x 4 sets and military sit ups 20 x 4 sets and a 90 sec plank. It’s ok for my age and the goal is to do them well so it’s embodied and my core is fit and healthy and I can support my back well into being a biddy old lady climbing the Himalayas at age 101 😂. (Qigong is actually the other big key to unlock healthy longevity). The more mind-work you do, the more you reduce cortisol in the body and then, the better your body functions. When relaxed, the nervous system creates optimum opportunity for the gut to digest food with more ease. Breathwork also stimulates the digestive tract as well as expanding lung capacity which just makes you healthier and fitter all around. So maybe today, there is one small incremental act of self love you engage in to upgrade your mind, body and spirit in some small loving way. 💪🏽Day 16 of 90 - Mind Body and Spirit Upgrade. My push ups and sit ups don’t suck as much and I feel I’m getting over the hump of real resistance. 🧘🏽‍♂️I arrived upstate CT today for a GROF breathwork weekend to start my journey specifically to dive deeper into his work. It starts with the healer healing thyself - so I’m looking forward to letting go and being taken care of by other practitioners for a change. Very grateful to continue to be a student and keep learning to support my clients at the intersection of science and spirituality… 😮‍💨Wish me luck as I do holotropic breathing for 3 hours in the morning! 😳
