Thrilled to reveal my latest cover, this time for @utahstyledesign featuring the wonderful @angieharrington and her beautiful home designed by @alicelaneinteriors | The fall issue will be hitting newsstands soon! A special thank you to my love @rebecca.a.lima for helping out on this shoot.
Architectural work is all about angles and the way light hits a structure. Time of day, the season, and the weather change everything about how a building feels. I caught most of these just by constantly scanning my surroundings—it’s the gift and the curse of having a photographic eye.
PERPETUAL RESIDUE | Limited Edition Framed Diptych.
I’m opening up the vault for something a little different. Instead of a fixed price, I’m inviting you to name your own price for this set. Slide into my DM with your offer. Cheers!
What started as a hunt for a vintage bomber jacket ended up as one of the most raw and honest portraits I’ve had taken of me by my friend and a masterful photographer in his own right @bretterick | I found the jacket at @vantageslc on one of those perfectly spontaneous Sundays where everything seemed to be in a perfect state of flow. The kind people working there that day even gave me a discount on what I considered a screaming deal to begin with… Thank you for that! As soon as I put it on I got the feeling that this look needed to be a tintype, and there was only one man I knew I could trust fully to capture it perfectly. There’s also something to be said for collaborating with a fellow creative you know and trust. So after a couple of beers and talk of our chosen profession and the state of trying to make a living as a niche photographer I felt vulnerable enough to step in front of the camera. We only took 2 shots - that’s the limitation and beauty of having your portrait taken in a non-digital environment. The first shot was perfect. The expression of my face to me communicates more than any words could. The second shot was just for fun, let’s call it my Top Gun audition headshot :) This experience is the perfect argument for why photography executed by real humans should never be replaced or go extinct.
I’ve been pretty devastated by the news and what’s been happening in our country lately. I haven’t really had the desire to post; everything else just seems irrelevant.
But I believe art matters at any point in history. So much of it is a reflection of the times. I’ve always enjoyed creating fantasies and telling stories through my work—that’s what made me fall in love with photography initially. It offered an escape from reality: a different world, a different time, and a sense that something is happening that you, as the viewer, have to figure out.
I’ve always said that the best art is the art that poses questions. This post is a throwback to a concept where I was trying to do just that—create a scenario and evoke a mood.
What do you think is happening here?
P.s. Lex was a wonderful collaborator. I’m fortunate to have had some incredible muses throughout my photography journey.
2025 has been one of the most difficult years on a personal level, but also one of immense growth. Professionally, it was a solid year. Thank you to all of my clients, friends, and family. I appreciate you more than you know. Happy New Year everyone! I’m looking forward to 2026.
Finishing the year off with another editorial published in The Luxe List issue of Park City Magazine. It was such a joy to capture the incredible home of my dear friend and collaborator from day one - Vanessa Di Palma Wright and her husband (the ultimate gentleman) Jeff Wright.
