Come along to see an exhibition by the Crouch End Open Studios artists at the beautifully renovated Hornsey Town Hall.
This Saturday, 6 December, is the ‘Festive Grand Launch’ of the Town Hall with activities starting at midday.
The Insights exhibition by 36 artists, representing the 60-strong group, will be on display 6-11 December, 12-6pm, as part of their 20th anniversary year.

Thank you to @thetimes for a great piece in today’s paper about the world’s first centre dedicated to supporting people with young onset and atypical forms of dementia. And to the families who shared their powerful stories.
The Hilary and Galen Weston Rare Dementia Support Centre has been funded by The National Brain Appeal (@brain_appeal ) and will provide a permanent home for the wonderful @raredementiasupport service. Due to open in 2026.

Spent a lovely afternoon in St James’s Park watching @artistoftheyear being filmed.
The artists were painting by the lake with views of Buckingham Palace. The many geese, swans and ducks were nonplussed by all the activity!

Last night I was privileged to join the @kickitout team at Wembley Stadium to remember the late Lord Herman Ouseley during the England v Latvia game.
I was lucky to work with Herman in the 90s when the Commission for Racial Equality’s campaign, Let’s Kick Racism out of Football, was getting underway and went on to become Kick it Out.
A memorable evening for an inspirational man.

Fabulously talented textile artist and friend @grahamhollick is holding his first solo exhibition this month at @allgoodbookshop in north London.
His incredible pieces are inspired by musical icons of the 70s and 80s, and are created using rug pulling techniques and salvaged cloth.
