Sit comfortably with your feet firmly on the ground. Take a thread from one sculpture and tie it to the other. Choose a flash card. Take three deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling slowly. Visualize yourself entering your mind and reflect on the question at hand. If you managed to find a balance between the duality of the feelings you experienced and through nostalgia you are able to reconnect with the present let the thread connect if not cut it with the scissors. Endless waiting - part of my first assignment in uni 50 WAYS TO TELL A STORY which gravitates around 2 polar opposite twins resembling ice and fire - In this riso print illustration with the twins the frozen one is being warmed by his brother, who is no longer merged with a hairdryer to have supranatural power, but has become the complement of his brother, possessing the power of the fire element. He becomes a protective barrier for his brother, like a dome that protects him, trying to create a safe space by blowing warm air over him.

Camper & Manea – TWINS - part of my first assignment in uni 50 WAYS TO TELL A STORY which gravitates around 2 polar opposite twins resembling ice and fire - While searching for a new pair of shoes, I came across a pair of loafers from Camper under the name TWINS, which made me think of the frozen twin and his brother when I received them. One of the shoes has a blue detail, while the other has a brown one, reminding me of the two brothers. So, I decided to add to their design by incorporating my twin story, and this is how I created the new product: Camper & Manea – TWINS.

Monotypes A monotype is a printmaking technique that creates a single, unique print. It involves pressing a sheet of paper onto a non-porous surface that has been inked or painted, transferring the design onto the paper through applied pressure. Because of its unique and spontaneous nature, the monotype is often considered a bridge between painting and printmaking.

Flashcards design They are part of a bigger project where the goal is to engage the public in reflecting on themselves by answering a random question that is shown on the chosen card to help detangle memories and feelings. For this, I designed a sigil that manifests a feeling of safety to be vulnerable. I created it by writing the phrase and selecting only the consonants that do not repeat, leaving me with: f, l, s, t, b, v, n, r. Next, I drew a circle and randomly placed all the consonants of the alphabet within it. Then, I drew lines connecting the points created by the eight consonants I had selected. Once the lines were formed, I began adding more details to make the sigil more complex. I used this sigil as a design element on the front of flashcards, placed under the text. For the back of the cards is a laser cutout that I overlay on a test sheet of my first attempt at doing Riso printing which I edited to my liking.

Introspection Introspection is the process of examining your thoughts, feelings, and sensations to gain a deeper understanding of yourself. It involves self-reflection and contemplation, allowing you to explore your inner experiences, motivations, and behaviors. Through introspection, you can identify personal strengths, weaknesses and understand emotional responses. Depicting them, I portrayed myself as grieving my loss as the last drop of luck vanished. enlightenment I visualized a deep state of meditation in which you project the person you would like to communicate with by transferring your energy and thoughts. In a dark and narrow space with numerous doors opened in a row, as an old saying in my country mentions this is thewaytoopena portal. Starting from this saying I came up with it as a path towards enlightenment. our decay For my artwork, I’ve decided to delve into themes of religion, human vulnerability, and the fear of losing oneself and others. I tried to convey a sense of helplessness as the world seemed to be turned upside down. Getting inspiration from Asmodeus, the demon of lust described in the Lesser Key of Solomon as “strong, powerful, and appearing with three heads - the first like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram or a goat…” I’ve interpreted him finding his prey in a narrow and dark place that was meant to be concealed. Love and Obsession I have drawn the image of a pure girl who is indecisive and confused by the concept of what love truly means to her. She needs to start being aware of the impact that her decisions have on her and to decide which of the men portrayed is best for her. Unfortunately, the girl doesn’t see beyond the second man and starts thinking of the concept of love as lust. She lives under the illusion that the validation she gets from the second man is as important as the love of the first one and is stuck while looking in both directions.
